We are looking for creative short documentaries. All productions will be part of a professional selection procedure at the renowned International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IDFA, 18 – 28 November 2010 in Amsterdam).

Share with us your most original and creative ideas about language. 18 winners will be selected to attend a 2-week "Cine-Boat" documentary filmmaking workshop in June 2011 in Turku (Finland).

IDFA is unique for its international film program, the variety of genres, its politically committed program and the many European and world premieres featured each year. The deadline to submit your film to the second and final selection round for IDFA 2010 is 1 August.

Istanbul Express is a filmmaking workshop which passes through 24 cities in 3 trains, all together 10 920 km. 45 young Europeans will be given a chance to participate as a director, cinematographer or sound designer.
